TEAM FISHER
SHANE FISHER
Position: Pilot
Hometown: San Diego, CA
Shane started his journey with Team USA Bobsled in the fall of 2022, but his Olympic ambitions started well before that. Prior to Bobsled, he trained for Decathlon and Tennis.
His favorite part about Bobsled is the comradery with his team.
TIM MONROE
Position: Push Athlete
Hometown: Cleveland, OH
Tim started his journey with Team USA Bobsled in the fall of 2022 as a brakeman. Before bobsled Tim played defensive tackle at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, skiing, paddle-boarding and fishing.
His favorite part about the sport is the g-forces and the cold weather.
JOHNNY TOWNSEND
Position: Push Athlete
Hometown: Orlando, FL
Johnny was a two-time All-American, and Captain of the University of Florida Gator Football Team. He graduated as the all-time leading punter in UF History, and recently completed his second masters degree from the Warrington College of Business at UF. He spent the last 5 years playing in the NFL, and executive directing the Johnny Townsend Foundation benefitting pediatric oncology. He was recently inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame for his impact. He is now a member of the Team USA bobsled team.
ELLIOT MARKUSON
Position: Push Athlete
Hometown: Oxford, MS
Elliot is a Mississippi native with a long athletic journey as a former SEC football player at the University of Mississippi. After college, he ventured overseas, immersing himself in diverse roles as an educator and football coach in China. Beyond his time training and thrilling descents on icy tracks, he spends his time exploring the world and experiencing diverse cultures.
Brandon Jetter
Position: Push Athlete
Hometown: Sacramento, CA
A California native for most of his life, Brandon attended the University of California, Davis, where he starred as a sprinter on the track and field team, going from a walk-on transfer to a full ride scholarship recipient in just two years. He finished his career ranked Top 5 all time at UC Davis in the 100m, before switching over to bobsled. Outside of the sport, Brandon has pursued endeavors in journalism, academic research, and film and television production.
Trevor Chase
Position: Push Athlete
Hometown: Eliot, ME
A recent graduate with a degree in Construction Management Engineering, Trevor spent 4 years as a starter for Norwich University Football. Besides bobsled, he enjoys boating, spending time on the water, and traveling.
